Sexual Safety Australia
Sexual Safety Australia is a training and consultancy organisation dedicated to creating safer, more respectful workplaces, community settings, and learning environments across Australia. Founded by educator and our highly qualified trainer Tracy Sedman, Sexual Safety Australia delivers evidence-based training in sexual safety, psychosocial hazards, and LGBTIQ+ inclusion in all domains.
We work with childcare centres, schools, sports clubs, businesses, and service providers to close the critical gaps in safeguarding and respectful conduct, vicarious liability and with programs tailored to each sector's unique needs. Our sporting and childcare training goes beyond mandatory reporting—addressing grooming prevention, vicarious liability, and trauma-informed practice to empower individuals and organisations to build a culture of safety and trust.
Sexual Safety Australia delivers tailored evidence based workplace training to help organisations meet their legal and ethical obligations around sexual safety, psychosocial hazards, and respectful conduct. This training empowers teams to prevent harm, respond safely to disclosures, and foster a culture of respect and inclusion across all levels of an organisation.
Based in Sydney and the Gold Coast, we deliver training Australia-wide, both online and in-person, for groups or individuals.
