Z//K and voyage is a journey of musicians from three different backgrounds!

In our upcoming performances, Zihern Lee, Harald Günter Kainer and Jong-ha Kim will travel through sound, space and improvisation.

For each of those two performances, the unique instrument “Bouncing droplet” was designed. This object is a generative instrument that finds its inspiration in the double slit experiment.

Such new technology becomes a conjunction of computational sound, piano and guitar.

Contemporary and traditional – just like Yin and Yang, the two performances will find their conclusion in the coexistence of improvisation and composition.

Z//K and voyage ist eine Reise von Musikern mit drei unterschiedlichen Hintergründen!

In den kommenden Performances entwerfen Sie eine Reise aus Sound, Raum und Improvisation.

Für beide Performances wurde exklusiv das Instrument “Bouncing droplet” gestaltet.

Hierbei handelt es sich um ein generatives Instrument, welches seine Inspiration im Doppelspalt-Experiment findet.

Neue Technologien bilden eine Schnittstelle und Fusion aus Computational Sound, Klavier- und Gitarrenspiel.

Zeitgenössisch und traditionell – wie Yin und Yang – finden beide Performances ihre Auflösung in der Koexistenz von Improvisation und Komposition.
