Create a basic fashion pattern

Have you ever wondered how you can make different garments by using just one pattern? It’s called a basic block and during this workshop you will learn how to create your very own basic women’s bodice block. You’ll understand the importance of correct measurements, what they are needed for and how to apply them to your 3D creations. By the end of the workshop you will have your very own basic bodice block ready for you to start creating with.

• You will develop an understanding of how to measure a female form correctly
• You will apply measurements to basic garment block making
• You will create a women’s basic bodice block ready for pattern manipulation
