WHU: StartingUp in Düsseldorf | October 8, 2019 | 6 - 9 pm

Dear Friends of the WHU Entrepreneurship Center,

Over the last years, the startup ecosystem in Düsseldorf has been growing significantly. With its vast corporate landscape, dense population and friendly governmental policies, the city offers an ideal environment for new venture creation! Indeed, in the last years more and more WHU founders started their ventures in the region.

With our event “StartingUp in Düsseldorf” we gather the entrepreneurially minded WHU students, alumni and friends in order to provide an overview of the various opportunities, the city and its ecosystem has to offer for founders.

Official Program: 18:00 – 19:30

Following the welcome note by Dr. Monika Hauck, Managing Director of the WHU Entrepreneurship Center, Dr. Sven Greulich, partner of Orrick Law Firm will provide an overview of Legal Considerations for Early Stage Founders.

We will then have Cristiano Estrada present his startup CABASUS and give insights into his entrepreneurial journey from being an international student to founding his own company in Düsseldorf.

Pitch & Drinks 19:30 – 21:00

Following the official part, we are going to open the floor for our event participants. Moderated by the WHU Entrepreneurship Roundtable team, in a relaxed atmosphere over food & drinks, founders and aspiring founders will have a chance to present their startup ideas and get feedback from experts and their peers.
