WELCOME TO THE 2019 "WHU | ipXcellence - CAMPUS FOR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT"

For the first time the Campus for Intellectual Property Management organizes a once in its kind conference: The "WHU | ipXcellence - Campus for Intellectual Property Management". The conference is run and organized by the Chair of Technology and Innovation Management of the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, Germany's leading business school, and located at the famous Rhine valley. Renowned corporate and academic speakers present, discuss, and challenge their current and future plans in IP Management. Additionally, best practices and findings of the "ipXcellence - The Global IP Management Benchmarking Study" will be presented, followed with a lively discussion and interactive workshops. You can also take advantage of the various exclusive networking opportunities to connect with leading IP thought leaders from academia and industry.

We will have a SPECIAL SESSION on the "Impact and Intersection of IP Management and Digitalization - Opportunities, Use Cases and Potential Applications of Artificial Intelligence Technology". The results of the Digital IP Index will be shared and discussed, followed with an interactive session on IP and Artificial Intelligence. Further, participants get the opportunity to chose from different breakout workshops and tracks, covering multiple issues in IP Management. This way, participants can tailor the agenda for their best benefit. Finally, we will introduce and explain the "WHU | ipXcellence - IP Management Research Lab". The event closes with the gala dinner and networking lounge.
