Trump’s 2nd Impeachment Trial - an Analysis by Historian Bryan Rigg
Event Information
About this Event
The Democrats and several Republicans in the House and Senate deem it important to prosecute the impeachment, due to Trump’s role in the insurgency at the US Capitol on June 6, disqualifying him from ever running for office again. Others argue that such proceedings will further divide the country and distract Biden from priority themes during his first hundred days in office.
We have invited Bryan Rigg back to The American Club to help us understand the various aspects and implications of the impending Senate trial.
Bryan Rigg holds a Masters and PhD in History from Cambridge University, and a BA from Yale. He has authored five history-themed books, including “Hitler’s Jewish Soldiers.” Mr. Rigg will join us live over Zoom from Dallas and will take questions from the gallery following his analysis.
