About this event

Learning objectives:

At the end of the course, associated clusters’ trainers will have a better overview and awareness of the soft skills needed to establish a productive collaboration with their SME members in terms of individual and team-related transversal competences and skills. In parallel, they will be able to acquire some methods, tools, and resources to improve their soft skills.

Course content:

The lesson focuses on the design and visual thinking experiential learning with a gamified approach methodology, to increase soft skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, reasoning, analysis, interpretation, creativity, artistry, curiosity, imagination, communication.

The Design Thinking will touch the principles of the user centric approach methodology. Visual Thinking, part of the Design Thinking, will engage the participants in using modalities that are usually not explored. This is the best way to stretch the brain and give birth to new ideas, free of preconceived notions, that will be useful in business or elsewhere in life.

Design and Visual thinking strategies are especially helpful for encouraging individual contributions in team brainstorming and problem-solving environments.

These approaches, when applied to a corporate setting, can drastically improve creative thinking skills and help employees facilitate discussions around the interconnectedness of ideas and innovation. These tools are also very effective in breaking down creative or idea blocks in teams and helping discover alternatives thinking patterns and carve out new ideas.
