Description

Textploitation: exploiting tiny texts

These days our learners are surrounded by shorter texts, be they tweets, texts, chat windows, sections of articles on their news feeds, or many more.

This webinar will suggest that we embrace them and bring them into our lessons. We will examine how short or 'tiny texts' can be utilised for language and skills learning by all levels, how students can be helped to notice the language around, making them more active and more autonomous learners. And, we

will provide practical ideas for you to apply in your lessons.

Speakers: David Byrne and Mark Heffernan
