Refund policy
This conference brings together renowned experts to discuss the latest research regarding the digital transformation in finance and beyond.
About this event
Digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing and blockchain are key drivers of modern finance. The enormous breadth of use cases and applications is illustrated by buzzwords such as FinTech, RegTech, Big Data, Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) and algorithm-based credit scoring. At the same time, the development of a normative regulatory framework for banks, customers, supervisors and central banks is only just beginning. Given the diversity and complex interaction of financial market actors, legislators as well as regulators face considerable challenges. Against this background, the ZEVEDI-project group AI & Finance – Innovation, Resilience and Responsibility brings together research from the fields of law, economics, information systems research and computer science. The focus is on questions of technological innovations and regulatory design for core application areas in finance and closely related industries.
This virtual panel and conference will bring together renowned experts to discuss the latest research and case studies on the opportunities and risks of digital transformation in finance and beyond. The fairness of credit scoring models, the ramifications of human-AI collaboration, and the legal foundations of CBDC are just a small selection of topics that will be covered at this event.
