Event description
Let's shape the Future of Work Together: German-American Online Talk on Cooperation in Science, Technology and Innovation

About this event

Digitalization, industry 4.0 and artificial intelligence, as well as societal changes and trends are changing the way we work. How do we deal with these changes? And how can science and research contribute to finding good solutions? The answers to these questions cannot be found at national level alone, but require international cooperation.

The German-American online talk will bring together internationally recognized experts to address questions such as

  • how the work of the future will affect us,
  • how digitalization, artificial intelligence and industry 4.0 change our working environments,
  • how new working models will be put into practice,
  • how German and US-American research communities can collaborate and benefit from each other.

To ensure an exciting discussion, we are providing an environment where you can customize your virtual avatar, explore the workshop by walking around the venue, join the live panel discussion and Q&A session or have individual conversations.

Download the Agenda here.

Sign up now: Virtual seats are free but limited.

The virtual venue opens 45 minutes before the online talk starts and can be accessed here.

The international campaign “The Future of Work” is an initiative of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

It focuses on specific research topics that address pressing future challenges and involves selected partner countries of high innovation potential.
