Förderverein Naturpark Barnim e.V.: This award-winning NGO runs a number of on-the-ground projects to protect wildlife and natural habitats in the areas we cycle through.

WHY SHOULD YOU GO?

Join us as we explore the famously scenic bike path Berlin-Usedom. Our day trip takes us 45km along this 350km path. Our guide is a travel book writer, who knows this area in and out, and has a few stories to tell. As if that isn’t enough, the bike way is exclusively for bikes, so we don’t have to worry about cars or trucks. The majority of the way we’ll drive through forests, which are bright green in May. Also, a big part of our adventure is alongside the scenic lakeshore of Werbellinsee, one of the most beautiful lakes in Germany, surrounded only by forest. Werbellinsee has crystal blue water, which you can even drink. We’ll stop for a refreshing swim (and maybe sip :). On the way, we also discover small villages, old churches and cross rivers. We will have our lunch break in a romantic beer garden next to a river.

Start the adventure: Once we’re there, we kick off our trip with a short round of introductions so that you get to know each other. Then we start exploring & hiking together.

Free cancellation up to 5 full days before the day of the trip. After that, cancel up to 48 hours before the trip to get a 50% refund. The trip is not dependent on favorable weather conditions (i.e. goes ahead as scheduled also when it rains). If the event is canceled on our end, you will get a full refund.
