From a sweatshop in the ghetto of Wuhan, Moni made her way to Berlin. She searched hard for love, until a severe depression hit her, forcing her to face unresolved childhood trauma.

In this autobiographical one-woman show, Moni is going to take you on a full emotional journey.

Who is Moni Zhang?

Moni is a standup comedian, storyteller, and mental health activist from Wuhan & based in Berlin.

She won the Berlin New Standup Award 2019 and founded the Berlin Mental Health Festival.

She has performed her one-woman show "Child from Wuhan" more than 30 times in Europe and it's currently the best-selling comedy solo show in Berlin. It has been featured in news outlets such as Euronews and Berliner Zeitung.

This show is part of Brighton Fringe 2022 & Edinburgh Fringe 2022.
