We cordially invite you to attend an American Club Dinner Speech with our new Honorary President, US Consul General, Jason Chue at the Park Hyatt’s Apples Restaurant, beginning with a sparkling-wine reception, accompanied with a 3-course dinner and fine wine.

Mr. Chue is the successor of Consul General Darion Akins and covers the states of Hamburg, Lower Saxony, Bremen, Schleswig-Holstein, and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. He has recently begun his duty in this role and looks forward to meeting the members and friends of The American Club of Hamburg. The Consul General will speak about the midterm elections, and priorities of the Biden Administration and his mission, regarding the transatlantic relationship.

The Consul General has been a career diplomat since 2005, serving overseas in Venezuela, Cyprus, Taiwan and Portugal. In Washington DC, he served in the Office of UN Political Affairs and on the foreign policy staff of U.S. Senator Richard Durbin. Prior to joining the diplomatic corps, he practiced commercial law in his hometown of New York City and clerked for the Federal District Court of New Jersey.

Mr. Chue holds a Juris Doctorate with honors from Columbia Law School, Master of Arts in Defense and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and linguistics from Emory University.
