Event description

Description

One day for Berlin scientists to get inside information, network with potential employers and plan your career!

At a time of increased competition in global markets for research positions and funding, it is important that scientists in the life sciences start to plan their career in a timely and well-informed manner. The MDC Career Day offers information about jobs, career alternatives and funding opportunities through the exchange of information between experts from both academia and the private sector. It gives participants the chance to get answers to their most pressing career questions directly from professionals.

The MDC Career Day is aimed at early-career researchers in the Berlin area. If you are a PhD candidate or Postdoc carrying out biomedical research at the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine (MDC), the Leibniz Institute for Molecular Pharmacology (FMP), at one of Berlin's Excellence Universities (Freie Universität Berlin and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin), at a Max Planck Institute or any other life science research institution around Berlin, this day is for you!

We offer direct contact to companies and fellowship providers, as well as interesting presentations and discussion rounds with invited speakers from diverse professional careers. Get your CV checked by a professional and find out which opportunities you might not have considered yet!

The MDC CareerDay will be held in English language.
