About this event

During the workshop, you will learn how to prepare traditional Gnocchi from scratch as well as cook various tasty sauces (vegan options are available).

After cooking you will enjoy the food you cooked together in the sun with some tasty wine! Almost as good as an Italian holiday...

Your Italian host and teacher, Cecilia, is born in Naples and raised in Rome. For her, food is a family affair and comes from the heart. Everyone in her family is a food and cooking expert. Already as a kid she used to assist her grandma, mother and uncles cooking a variety of Italian dishes in their steamed up kitchen. She is excited to now share these family recipes and cooking tips with you!

Covid-19 safety at Daheim Manufaktur:

Our workshops are currently only held in groups of 4 guests- these can be split over 2 attached rooms. Like this, we can ensure the safety distance is met. If you come with a friend or partner you can of course cook together.

To ensure your full safety during the workshop facemasks will be worn while preparing the meal, we also have rubber gloves available for you and disinfectant dispensers in each room. You are welcome to re-wash all equipment with hot soapy water before use, but rest assured as a hygiene office approved production kitchen constant hygiene is our highest priority.

For eating your delicious meals, the group will move outside onto our tables on the sunny terrace where you can sit on separate tables if need be and enjoy your food and a good chat.
