About this event
Meet, exchange ideas, and get to know insights of the Ukrainian IT community in Berlin and an open and global innovation network of Porsche Digital. The Company that transmits the fascination of Porsche into the digital world.
The purpose of this event is to support community of Ukrainian tech specialists in Berlin, exchange tech ideas, and help to go smoothly through the transition period in Germany.
In our second IT UA talk on Dec 7th, Sebastian Dellwig from Porsche Digital will give a talk about Scaling development with event-driven architectures. Sebastian will share some experiences he made in scaling the CarSales platform from 3 to 13 teams. The speaker will talk about technical dependencies between the teams and how to solve these with event-driven architecture. Beware, there are also some pitfalls in event-driven architecture.

About the speaker:
Sebastian Dellwig is Solution Architect at Porsche Digital. In his role, he shapes the Porsche CarSales platform, which is THE place to buy new and used Porsche cars. As member of the first days of Porsche Digital, he is well-connected to many colleagues at the different sites.
Additional to that, Sebastian also holds lectures in Software Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Stuttgart.
About the location:
Porsche Digital is opening its doors in Berlin. We will meet at the Osthafen near the River Spree, just on the border between Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg.
