About this event

You are invited to celebrate with me the practice of Yoga Nidra combined with the fascinating method of Expressive Arts.

> THE PRACTICE OF YOGA NIDRA ORIGINATES FROM INDIA. IT IS A SPECIFIC STATE OF INTERNAL AWARENESS.

It is an ancient technique using deep conscious relaxation, in which you are neither completely asleep nor really awake. In this systemic practice, one enters a state of deep conscious sleep. During Yoga Nidra, the senses, intellect and mind have an opportunity to relax. In that state, the brain activity reduces and the body can heal.

> IN YOGA NIDRA, ONE TURNS INWARDS AND, FOR A MOMENT, DISCONNECTS FROM THE EXTERNAL WORLD.

By observing our internal landscapes, we can calm down, deeply relax, and come back to ourselves. Through Yoga Nidra, we get a chance to create more self-awareness and reconnect with our bodies.

Once a month, I will offer you a unique experience combining Yoga Nidra with the practice of Expressive Arts. Join me to relax, unwind, experience true flow, and express yourself using various art forms.

WHAT?

Intermodal Expressive Arts is an art-based practice combining therapeutic approaches with self-expression. In the Expressive Arts settings, different art forms come into play to stimulate imagination and allow people to connect with their true longings.

In every session, we will find grounding through simple body-based exericises, relax into Yoga Nidra, and express ourselves using various art forms like, for instance, doodling, painting, movement, voicing, photography, or playing with paper.

Props: a place to rest in a completely relaxed pose (e.g. yoga mat, blanket, carpet), a thin cushion or folded blanket to support your neck and another one to support your knees (optional), warm socks, something to cover yourself.

Art materials: paper (any type), felt markers, crayons, paint (whatever you have at hand), your cell phone, masking tape, scissors.
