About this event

A variety of ways we communicate in academia – from conference posters to social media posts – are in a constant need of new visual material. The legal boundaries of which images can be used, however, are not always clear. In this talk, image copyright expert Saskia Hallmann-Willner will guide us through the basic dos and don’ts of using images in public communication.

Bio:

Saskia Hallmann-Willner studied law at the University of Passau from 2011-2018. After her studies she qualified as a scientific librarian at the university of Ulm and started working for scientific libraries. She is now working for the staff office copyright at the university library Tübingen and is in charge of the library's holdings in the subjects law and Slavonic studies.
