Description

This half-day session is for everybody - Type 1s, Type 2s, Type Fs, doctors and other health care professionals, researchers, tech experts, and other curious minds - who intend to learn about the "Artificial Pancreas" or"Closed Loop Insulin Delivery System".

Various speakers will share their perspective of the #WeAreNotWaiting movement and their experiences with the "Do it Yourself-Artificial Pancreas" (DIYAPS) as patient innovators, people with diabetes, caregivers, researchers, and clinicians.

  • Please note: This event is independent from the EASD Annual Meeting. A registration at EASD is not necessary to attend this event.Tickets are limited.
  • This course will be held in English language and previous knowledge in diabetes and endocrinology is recommended.
  • Can't make it? No problem: A full refund is possible until 7 days prior to the event. Tickets can be transfered to other people free of charge.
  • How to get there: The event will be held at Centre Civic Sagrada Familia, 480 Carrer de Provença, Barcelona, Spain. The closest Metro station is "Sagrada Familia", L2 (purple line) and L5 (blue line). To get there from the EASD conference venue, we recommend to take the L1 (red line) until Universitat and change to L2 (purple line).
