Witness the presentation of innovative social business ideas challenging youth unemployment all over the world.
Out of almost 900 applicants from more than 120 countries, 35 outstanding young people have been selected to join the Global Entrepreneurship Summer School in Munich.
Within 10 days these talents are developing innovative and impact-driven solutions for this year's global challenge "Youth Unemployment". According to the World Economic Forum, youth make up 40% of the world's unemployed.
On September, 24th, the #GESS2015 class of future entrepreneurs will pitch their solutions to a public audience and will be evaluated by a professional jury of serial entrepreneurs, social venture capitalists and international experts on youth unemployment.
The event will be highlighted by special guest and keynote speaker Eskinder Mamo, co-founder of AhadooTec and the award-winning personalized learning platform "Fidel". The young Ethiopian social entrepreneur, named as one of "100 most influential Africans in Germany" by the African Heritage Magazine trains thousands of young African students for a successful future career.

Why is the topic of this year's summer school "Youth Unemployment"?
We have 1.2 billion young people aged between 15 and 24 living on our planet. According to the World Economic Forum youth make up 17% of the world's population and 87% of youth live in developing countries. As the Global Youth Unemployment Rate is 12.6%, we see it as a global challenge which GESS wants to address with its higly motivated participants.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes. You can also invite additional colleagues and friends to the event. But please make sure, everyone registers via eventbrite due to limited seats.

Easiest arrival is by public transport due to limited parking options.
