Acerca de este evento

Live the magical experience of the French Camino de Santiago this autumn! Travel the last 315km of the most traditional and exciting route in 13 unforgettable stages.

From 24 September to 9 October

From León to Santiago de Compostela, you will pass through incredible landscapes, villages and towns full of history and culture. With an average of 24km per stage, you will enjoy a perfect pace to connect with yourself, discovering landscapes, indoors and on the Camino, in a group and with nature and other pilgrims from all over the world.

Our stages will be:

25/09. León - San Martín del Camino. 24km.

26/09. San Martín del Camino - Astorga. 24km.

27/09. Astorga - Foncebadón. 25km.

28/09. Foncebadón - Ponferrada. 27km.

29/09. Ponferrada - Villafranca del Bierzo. 24km.

30/09. Villafranca del Bierzo - O Cebreiro. 28km.

01/10. O Cebreiro - Triacastela. 21km.

02/10. Triacastela - Sarria. 18km.

03/10. Sarria - Portomarín. 22km.

04/10. Portomarín - Palas de Rey. 25km.

05/10. Palas de Rey - Arzuá. 28km.

06/10. Arzuá - Pedrouzo. 19km.

07/10. Pedrouzo - Santiago. 20km.

The profile of the stages, the information of interest, the list of hostels where we will stay, and the recommended routes to León, will be given to the pilgrims in a dossier in good time before departure.

The profiles of the stages are varied. The first part is quite flat but, as we get closer to Galicia, the profiles will become steeper until we reach the main stage, in O Cebreiro, where we will face a 5km climb with a calculated difference in altitude of 900m. and a height of 1300m.

At the summit, the end of our stage, we will have a special visit to the Church of Santa María la Real where, according to legend, the Holy Grail is found, the chalice used in "The Last Supper" in an imposing pre-Romanesque construction from the 9th century.

The pilgrims who accompany us on this journey will also be fortunate to be able to participate in a custom that returns to the "rituals of the pilgrim"; the embrace of the apostle, which was stopped due to the coronavirus pandemic.

We will meet on the 24th of September, at the door of the Cathedral of León (Plaza de Regla) at 18h. From there we will go to dinner together, to get to know each other and answer your questions and distribute the pilgrim's credentials, if you can't sleep in the hostels. On the 25th, very early in the morning, we will set off for Santiago.

We will arrive in Santiago on Saturday 7 October, around midday. After the delivery of the Compostelas, in the very Plaza del Obradoiro, you will have the afternoon free and, the next morning, we will all go to the Pilgrim's Mass to put an end to the activity.
