Beschreibung

This blockchain meetup discusses blockchain-solutions for Mobility providers and logistics services. How can providers of transportation use decentralized ledgers for their services? How can blockchains make supply chains more efficient and transparent? And which difficulties do these firms face on their journey?

Join our first Disrupt Meetup of the Industrie 4.0 and IoT community in Frankfurt. This blockchain meetup is also part of the German Blockchain Week. It aims at bringing together blockchain enthusiastic enterprises that want to get to know the technology, understand how it can be used and applied in their processes and those that already invest in it.

SPEAKERS

Here is the current line-up of the upcoming speakers (will be updated over time):

(1) Matthias Felder, DB Systel GmbH

Matthias Felder is portfolio manager Blockchain & DLT solutions at DB Systel, the Digital Partner and the IT Provider of Deutsche Bahn AG. As a portfolio manager he is responsible for all DLT products & services at DB Systel. This includes consulting, education and the development and implementation of new services and products containing distributed ledger technologies. He is working in different areas of the telecommunication and mobility sector in the past 10 years.

(2) Herbert Mangesius, Vito VC

Herbert is a founding member at Vito Ventures and has been instrumental in establishing Vito VC as leading early-phase deep-tech investor in central Europe. He is a longstanding integral part of the Munich tech and academic ecosystem: As Alumni of the CDTM, he engages himself for 10+ years in digital models both hands-on and as a researcher. He has been working as an academic researcher in European leading laboratories and institutes in Paris, Louvain, and Munich at the intersection of engineering science, physics, and cybernetics. He is co-organizer of the Munich Tech Conference Daho.am and has been decisive in bringing the format from the level of a company meetup to the level of a leading deep-tech conference in Europe.
