Description
Designing and Monitoring of Residential and Commercial PV Plants
This seminar gives an overview over SMA product solutions for the installation of PV systems optimized for self-consumption for residential and commercial applications with an output up to 250 kWp. It also includes an overview over possible solutions for monitoring and controlling PV systems. We start with a discussion of different motivations of potential plant operators for setting up new PV systems. Apart from technical details about SMA inverters you will also learn about module-based power electronics. We will furthermore look into the benefits of electrical battery solutions. Other topics of this seminar are: SMA communication and monitoring devices as well as systems for optimizing self-consumption. Working with sample PV systems you will learn about possible ways to plan and dimension a PV plant. In addition you will learn which products are best suited for different use cases. In a hands-on workshop on PV system design you will apply and deepen your knowledge.
