We are very excited to invite you to our Circular Economy Day in Berlin!

The Circular Economy Day is an open event for the circular community across Europe, including innovators, researchers, companies and investors. The event will be held by the Circular ClimAccelerator in collaboration with Zukunftsorte Berlin.

The Circular ClimAccelerator invites all circular start-ups, entrepreneurs, city representatives, corporate partners, and impact investors, to join the Demo Day and celebrate the graduation of the best innovative start-ups from our two programmes: Circular Cities and The Built Environment.

The Circular ClimAccelerator is joining forces with Zukunftsorte Berlin which are hosting the fifth edition of the Zunkunft Mitdenken; a series of panel discussions that are focused on exchanging ideas with and learning from guests, deepening content, and gaining new perspectives. They are bringing together scientists, companies, NGO’s and different administrations, to discuss how to shape the future of the Circular Economy.

The Circular Economy Day will take place in the Science and Technology Park Adlershof in Berlin, and is kindly hosted by WISTA Management, STP Adlershof and the GCZ Project.

ABOUT US:

The Circular ClimAccelerator Programme:

The Circular ClimAccelerator Programme is a European Entrepreneurship Programme co-funded by EIT Climate-KIC in collaboration with Luvent Consulting, Tangent, Trinity College Dublin and GreenTech HQ Innovation Hub. We are part of the largest climate-focused community in Europe.

As a thematic ClimAccelerator we focus on the circular economy with the ultimate goal of supporting the circular transition in Europe. We provide financial support combined with a tailor-made accelerator programme with circular and climate impact focus.

Zukunftsorte Berlin / “Zukunft mitdenken”:

There are eleven places in Berlin where the future already exists today. This future is the result of the cooperation between science and business in science parks and other ecosystems made for knowledge and technology exchange. This is what the ‘Zukunftsorte’ (Future Locations) stand for. Berlin boasts eleven places where tomorrow’s future is being created today, places that make its innovative potential tangible.

“Zukunft mitdenken” is a series of panel discussions organised by the Business Office of Zukunftsorte Berlin. The focus is on exchanging ideas with and learning from guests, deepening content and gaining new perspectives.

WISTA Management, Adlershof and the Grand Challenges Zentrum (GCZ)

WISTA Management GmbH, are a state-owned company in Berlin, an experienced business enabler, location developer and innovation service provider. As an initiator and catalyst, they strengthen the economic foundation of Berlin at the interface of science and business. They also run the managing office for Berlin's Future Locations (Zukunftsorte).

The Adlershof Science and Technology Park has set itself a new task: to contribute to solving the Grand Challenges, the significant social challenges of our time. For this purpose, a working environment is to be created in which innovators with heterogeneous expertise and interests provide concrete technology-based solutions: the Grand Challenges Center (GCZ). The GCZ simultaneously creates physical, hybrid and virtual innovation spaces; innovation spaces that allow cross-space collaboration on specific innovation projects and the building of innovation communities.

We are looking forward to seeing you there,

Your Circular ClimAccelerator team
