This meetup of the Industrie 4.0 and IoT Frankfurt Disrupt Community discusses blockchain-solutions for Mobility providers and logistics services as well as how effective blockchain is in the IoT sector in overcoming centralized bottlenecks. How can providers of transportation use decentralized ledgers for their services? How can blockchains make supply chains more efficient and transparent? How can blockchains transform the IoT?


Join this Disrupt meetup of the Industrie 4.0 and IoT community in Frankfurt. This Industry 4.0 Frankfurt community meetup covers the role of blockchain in the field of Mobility, IoT, Crypto-Exchanges and Smart Contract Security and discusses various startups that work on such use cases. This blockchain meetup is also part of the German Blockchain Week 2019. It aims at bringing together blockchain enthusiastic enterprises and individuals that want to get to know the technology, as well as understand how it can be used and applied.

(1) Matthias Felder, DB Systel GmbH

Matthias Felder is portfolio manager Blockchain & DLT solutions at DB Systel, the Digital Partner and the IT Provider of Deutsche Bahn AG. As a portfolio manager is responsible for all DLT products & services at DB Systel. This includes consulting, education and the development and implementation of new services and products containing distributed ledger technologies. He is working in different areas of the telecommunication and mobility sector in the past 10 years.

2) Torsten Velker, Founder and CEO, Peerz.One

Torsten Velker is Founder and CEO of Peerz.One, a company enabling the Economy of Things with Distributed Ledger Technology. He looks back on two decades of experience in high-tech industries as a business executive, engineer, consultant and entrepreneur.
