BERLINDESIGNCLUB 'Census' Publication

Berlin is a vibrant and creative city, whose inhabitants always have in some way swam against the current. The design community in Berlin is no different, and because of this, it has ultimately defied definition.

The'Census' publication is the BERLINDESIGNCLUB's first intervention. This project documents Berlin's design community, as a visual summary in book format. This book is intended to showcase a random sampling of the creative depth, diversity, and uniqueness within Berlin's design culture.

'Census' will represent an inclusive collection of creatives ranging from the fields of graphics, product, and environmental design, as well as the genre of craft makers and design artists.

To participate with us on the 'Census' project, and be included in the resulting book, please purchase a ticket*.

Each ticket purchase includes registration fee that entitles the contributor to: one (1) page full-bleed in the 'Census' publication, for a visual representing your design philosophy, as well as one (1) complimentary copy of the BERLINDESIGNCLUB 'Census' publication.

*The 'Census' book is a self-funded project. All of the proceeds collected from contributors will be used to pay for the design and printing of the 'Census' publication. The publication budget is based on material cost as well as the estimated price of the services supplied by the design and printing team. Should the 'Census' publication for any reason not be produced, the contributor's registration fee will be reimbursed.

The BERLINDESIGNCLUB is Berlin-based design initiative is, focused on elevating the status of Berlin’s design culture within our community and abroad.

Through design events and workshops, the BERLINDESIGNCLUB proactively raises the awareness of the existing collectives and aesthetic trends of Berlin.
