Authentic Storytelling Taster Workshop at Lettrétage Berlin

In an increasingly AI-centric world, reclaim your creative power and unlock your unique writing voice with Authentic Storytelling!

In this intimate session, we cover the basics of writing and explore the art of storytelling through an inclusive, somatic and sacred lens. We use writing prompts that tap into dreams, ecology, indigenous storytelling practices and several other inclusive modalities to empower you with more choices in what stories you tell and how you tell them.

We keep the group size small and cozy, so everyone gets a chance to create and share work in a supportive and inclusive environment. A google drive folder will be shared at the end of the session for attendees to access further writing resources. We will also share information about our further writing course at the end, but there is no obligation to attend.

The session is led by award-winning writer, filmmaker and storyteller Candice Onyeama. Her writing background spans screen, video and digital mediums but her diasporic storytelling practices are universal to all narrative formats.
