Do you want learn how to make vegan aged cheese, like camembert and blue cheese? I mean, the real ones, inoculated with cultures and molds and aged for weeks or months until all the flavor has developed, awakening your gustatory senses. All that using only plant based ingredients like cashews and almonds!
This workshop is an extended version of our "Vegan Cheese - The Real deal" workshop. You will not only learn the principles of aged vegan cheese, but a detailed approach to vegan camembert, blue cheese and other varieties, using different nuts, beans and ingredients. Learning different techniques to create a unique product that suits your own preferences.
Some of the cheese types you will learn how to make in this workshop:
Fresh cheese types, like feta and queso blanco.
Mold-ripened cheese types, like camembert and blue cheese.
Fermented cream-cheese types, that can be used as spreads.
With those basics you can create your own type of cheese.
This workshop will focus more on techniques rather then following recipes, but you will receive recipes for the aforementioned type of cheeses at the end of the workshop so you can make at home.
You will also be able to try different Almond and Cashew based cheeses at the end of the workshop.
