Event Information
About this Event
The AI Fashion conference, originally planned at the Ehrensaal of the Deutsches Museum in Munich in March this year is conceived by the Responsive Fashion Institute.
The Institute founder Juliane Kahl advocates a deeper connection between fashion and tech industries as catalyst for disruptive changes within the local and global fashion industries.
While AI has been on the radar for some time, the conference will focus on revealing the mystery of artificial intelligence and examine practical implications of technology-driven solutions in the industry.
“Our goal is establish an understanding that AI is not something we should be afraid; there should be no fear but willingness to work with it and use the data and algorithms for more transparency and circularity within fashion,” says Juliane Kahl.
The virtual conference is the first step to establish a dialogue between the fashion, tech and scientific communities to enable sharing and applying know-how and experience in order to create a better understanding of what AI is capable of at diverse levels. A top-class international group of experts discusses the current opportunities, potentials and challenges of artificial intelligence within the most diverse applications and design forms of fashion.
Speakers include Jonathan Chippindale (Holition, London), Luca Morena (Next Atlas, Turin), Karinna Nobbs (HOT: SECOND, London), Dr. Helen Piel (Deutsches Museum, Munich) and Mathilde Rougier (Clothstrophobe, Paris).
The event will be held in English. The conference is aimed at fashion and tech professionals, and media with the strong interest in technology-driven sustainability. In addition, the project promotes the establishment of an international network for potential future collaboration between creatives and companies.
