A MAZE. Awards 2017
Thu, Dec 1, 2016, 12:00 AM – Tue, Mar 7, 2017, 11:30 PM CET
AT A MAZE. / BERLIN 2017 - 6TH INTERNATIONAL INDEPENDENT GAMES AND PLAYFUL MEDIA FESTIVAL
A MAZE. AWARDS 2017 SUBMISSION - FROM DECEMBER 0, 2016 TILL MARCH 05, 2017
Since 2012 A MAZE. awards The Most Amazing Game. The winner is selected by an interdisciplinary, international and 100% independent jury. 2014 A MAZE. extended the award to three categories and the audience award. 2015 we’ve introduced our fourth category the "Other Dimensions Award” which is dedicated to play in virtual reality.
Now in respect of the forward-thinking and game changing development of the creators some of the 2012 award conditions and categories are not legit anymore. We've decided to adapt on the exciting movement and made some extension: The categories are: “Most Amazing Game Award”, “Human Human Machine Award”, “Feature Award”, “Digital Moment Award”, “Collider Award” and “Audience Award”.
The most amazing trophy consists out of three independent elements: a pink silicone cube, a metal ball and a concrete socket. Thorsten S. Wiedemann, the director of A MAZE. explains: "The pink silicon stands for interactivity and playfulness, the concrete socket for culture and meaning, and the embedded metal ball for connectivity and completeness."
An hand-picked international jury has the honorable task to select the winners of the following categories on-site.
