Dear Fans,

unfortunately, the developments on the Corona Virus (SARS-CoV-2) have seen drastic change here in Germany

in the past 48 hours. We are very sad to tell you that today the administration of the city of Mannheim has informed us due to the decree from today (Thursday 12th March 2020) that Time Warp DE on 4th April 2020 cannot happen and is prohibited.

The Ministry of Health of the German state of Baden-Württemberg has adjusted their crisis prevention programme as to that all events with more than 1.000 visitors have to be cancelled.

As health and safety comes always first on all our festivals, we have full understanding of this decision from the city of Mannheim.

This is a completely new and distressing situation for us and certainly for you as well.

As many of you have been looking forward to Time Warp for many months this is a very devastating and frustrating experience. As well for us, as we put nearly one year of work into this event to make it an as good and great experience as you know it from previous Time Warp editions.

Your continuous support and patience during this complex and difficult situation are much appreciated.

Time Warp established itself in 1994 as one of the biggest techno spectacles in the world. The German edition of the festival is a hot-spot for thousands of party people every year. Since 2000, Mannheim has been the festival's home base.

For over two decades, Time Warp stands out globally because of its uncompromised production levels. But Mannheim is not only the ideal location for unique floor designs. The roster of techno artists also captures the underground spirit of the event. Titans of the genre return on a regular basis alongside up-and-coming artists.

Time Warp has since grown from a local highlight to an international behemoth. Global editions are held in cities like New York, Amsterdam, Sao Paulo and Milan.

19 HOURS OF UNCOMPROMISING TECHNO & HOUSE

Every year over 40 DJs and live acts gather in Mannheim to deliver 19 hours of party pleasures. Time Warp bands together a crew of the electronic elite. For fans, it's a chance to see the creme of the electronic crop in one place, making it an essential date in the calendar. Guests embark on a techno adventure between the different arenas on six floors. Visuals, lighting shows and heavy production heighten the senses for an immersive experience.

A SYNTHESIS OF SOUND AND VISUALS

Time Warp is a unique experience altogether. The eclectic booking policy, spectacular floor designs and audiovisual technology merge in Mannheim.
