Update July 2017: The program of the 2017 Exner Lecture will be anounced soon! The Date has changed - The Wilhelm Exner Medal 2017 is on October 18th!

Update Febuary 16th, 2017: The Wilhelm Exner Medal 2017 will be awarded to two outstanding researchers. The WEM Foundation has determined two candidates from the submissions of the former medalists, which the decisive body, the board of the Austrian Association of SME, has confirmed : Fabiola Gianotti, Director General of CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research), Geneva, Switzerland and Chad A Mirkin, Director of the International Institute for Nanotechnology, Northwestern University, Illinois, USA. Both researchers meet the requirements of Wilhelm Exner to the most extraordinary.

Update February 15th, 2017: Decision on the laureates will be taken today!

Update Decenber 19th, 2016: Registration for Exner Lecture 2017 is open!

Update December 5th, 2016: The process identifying the laureats 2017 is on it´s way!
