The Authors’ Rights Initiative is an alliance of over 40 copyright organizations in association with trade unions and represents the interests of around 140,000 authors and performing artists. It is organizing the industry-wide popular and recognized copyright conference for the 10th time. Among others, the Minister of State for Culture, Ms. Claudia Roth, MdB, will give a welcoming speech.
Other guests include political representatives such as Macit Karaahmetoglu (SPD), Awet Tesfaiesus (Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen), Thorsten Lieb (FDP) and Ansgar Heveling (CDU), as well as Dr. Robert Staats (VG Wort), Marieke Heimburger (VdÜ) and Prof. Dieter Gorny, as well as authors and performing artists. The conference is hosted this year with cooperation partner ALAI Germany.
