In his role at GFI, Nate helps to lead the organisation's startup growth programme and entrepreneurial ecosystem building strategy. This involves collaborating with businesses, accelerators, and investors to capitalise, commercialise, and scale the alternative protein industry.

Nate's work with startups, scientists, and venture capitalists places him at the cutting edge of the innovation ecosystem, allowing him to provide personalised support to other entrepreneurs and publish impactful open-access resources.

Nate earned a B.A. in Economics and J.D. in Commercial Law from the University of Kansas, and later brought his experience providing consulting services at a biotechnology incubator to GFI.
