Description

Each year, the transmediale and CTM festivals jointly offer one of the world's most pertinent, adventurous, and comprehensive reviews of the way new technologies and digital culture are shaping our lives.

transmediale 2015 CAPTURE ALL will take place from January 28 to February 1 at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin. The festival will set out to explore the limits of digital culture's pervasive logic of Capture All and its quantification of life, work and play. The programme will feature a diversity of different types of work in a thematic exhibition as well as film and video screenings, workshops, performances, and a conference programme.

Entering its 16th edition January 23 – February 1, 2015, CTM 2015 – UN TUNE aims to engage with the direct bodily effects of frequencies, sound, and music, as well as these phenomena’s synergistic effects with other sensory stimuli. Artistic experimentation with the affective and somatic effects of sounds and frequencies opens up possibilities of tuning and de-tuning the composite that interconnects body, matter, energy, and (musical) machines – and of exploring our perception.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

IMPORTANT: As some festival locations have a limited capacity, access cannot always be guaranteed. We suggest you arrive on time to avoid disappointment.

The pre-sale printout itself does not give admission to the festival events, but must be exchanged for an actual pass and wristband at one of the CTM or transmediale info counters (locations and opening hours TBA). Pass holders will receive detailed information via email about where and when to pick up their passes in January.

Passes may be picked-up by the authorized ticket-holder only and cannot be passed on to others. Please bring a valid document of identification at the time of pick-up (ID card, passport, drivers license). Access to festival venues can only be granted with valid festival passes or tickets. Lost passes or tickets will not be refunded.

CTM and transmediale 2015 pass and ticket holders understand that they may potentially have their photos taken during their festival visit, and authorize transmediale and CTM to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute these photos for purposes of publicising the festivals.

Please note that CTM and transmediale 2015 kombi pass gold holders must pick up separate tickets for concerts at HAU Hebbel am Ufer (HAU1) at that venue’s box office the night of each event’s presentation. Tickets may be obtained by presenting your festival pass. The box office opens one hour before each concert starts.

Access to CTM’s nighttime events cannot be granted for persons under 18 years of age.
